My name is Luretta Martin. I am passionate about healthcare administration or a career in the healthcare field. This has been my long term passion over the years I have worked towards making sure that this dream turns out as a reality. My current role entails consulting and coordinating with health care team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. I prepare, administer, and keep records of administered prescribed medications. Additionally, I report adverse reactions to medications or treatments per the policy regarding administering medications by a licensed license practical nurse.
I was responsible for running and managing the Pediatric Department, where I served as a role model for leadership and professionalism to other staff. I provided clinical expertise to all staff regarding immunizations.
Responsible for training staff on electronic health records and workflows, providing leadership, and serving as a technical resource person to the clinical team. I continually assist with the implementation of two electronic health records, Allscripts (03/10) and Eclinical 05/13).
As the program evaluator of the Healthy Start Program, my responsibilities includes the analysis and synthesizing of data to assist with driving appropriate decision- making within the program.
I have been responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, configuring, and evaluating the organization's clinical information system. I plan, design, and evaluate the information systems to support clinical practice and ensure development, evaluation, and ongoing support.
